International Aqua Walking, based in France (in the Alpes-Maritimes region), is an official partner of the European Hiking Federation. Its mission is to promote aqua walking in Europe and to be part of the #BeActive dynamic of the European Week of Sport 2025 support by the European Commission which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

Aqua Walking was born in France in 2005, and for the 20th anniversary of its creation, we have opened participation to countries t hat are discovering this sport. The international sporting event – IAWG-2025 -(this year featuring Germany, the Republic of San Marino, Tunisia, and Algeria) will take place in Mandelieu La Napoule in the south of France and will invite Test Teams from European countries to participate in the competitions. This year, we have managed to mobilize teams from Latvia, Lithuania, and we are waiting for teams from Malta, and Montenegro. Prior to this, training sessions were organized in these countries in July and August 2025.
